I sit here and wonder

Why does this continue to happen?

Replaying the scenes in my mind

Over and over again

Putting myself in crazy situations

Same thing, different day

Driving myself insane

Does it have to be this way?

Making stupid choices

Trying to go with the flow

Switching up my style

To see what works for me

I question and analyze

Breaking it down, trying to make sense of it

Always asking “Why me?”

What is it I cannot see?

Maybe I’m naïve

Maybe I just want to believe

Why does this happen to me

Over and over repeatedly?
