I Hate Heroin

I hate heroin

It takes away your soul

Eats away your sense

Nothing matters

Once you’re hooked the odds are slim

Your body is a train wreck

Hot cold shivers, the sickness sets in

Not a single bone in your body can escape the pain

One shot in the vein

Once again heroin wins

Got to start all over again

In a few hours dope sickness kicks in

Now it’s time to get some more

Hustle is on

Once again no hope

All you want is dope

Your life is controlled by a substance

You fear courts and judges

Lies you tell to hide the truth

Once again lost

No true friends

Broke and lonely

You are a phony

Can’t even get horny

Once again you at war

Cannot afford your habit anymore

All is left is to be a whore

Arms covered with scars

Endless nights sleeping in cars

Grave site unmarked

Once again heroin stopped her heart
