The Gazing Eye
When a person is staring at you,
You wonder what they are they thinking.
Do they know you or dislike you?
Not a smile, or flinch, just a stare, not even blinking.
You know that they’re gazing, when you look away
And they’re still staring.
Are they looking at your style in clothing and comparing?
Or ... are they jealous and hating you, from what it seems.
No smiling, no hello, just a stern stare,
It has to be a low self-esteem.
You know you don’t know them personally.
So, what else could it possibly be?
It’s weird and uncomfortable, you try to ignore.
But you wonder, why are you gazing at me?
The gazing eye can be very intimidating.
Especially when it’s not a friendly gaze.
I find it odd; to hate someone you don’t know
I am really amazed.
This is something that happens to quite a few of us,
At one point in time, in our lives.
You wish….
But you know you can’t control someone else’s eyes.
There is a story to be told, behind the two round circles, in every person’s head that lie.
