remove the ego and the pride; open the blinds
let the sunshine inside the revolution of your mind
no more baby momma drama no more dead beat dads
two become one, stay one raising daughter or son to become college grads
put down the remote control turn off the dvd and unplug the tv
pray together, stay together, play together each and every day together
ladies and gentlemen it's time for the revolution
remove the weeds and plant the seeds of a new constitution
the revolution is not about strength in numbers
it's about the incredible power of being humble
where there is need there is room for help
the question is can we make room to help ourselves?
Self-help for the nations is what this is all about
so lead follow or get out
let me make it plain for your brain
for your ears to hear, let me break it down,
make it clear just a little clearer
what do you see when you look into the mirror
CEO, super star, playa playa, ka-ching ka-ching, with your bling bling?
in the spiritual revolution the bling don’t mean a thing
the reflection of the spiritual revolution
is a brain without chains
a soul without gold
no bling or ka-ching just an ordinary human being
standing ready to help one another
mother, father, sister, brother
ladies and gentlemen it's time for the revolution
the revolution will remove the clouds from the skies of your mind
by revealing and increasing the peace that lies inside
Take off the necktie that chokes your mind
remove the suit that blinds your eyes
the car you drive does not describe the soul inside
the revolution is not about religion
it is about making a conscious decision
to change directions
for the protection
of the next generation
of a civilized nation
moving in harmony
without animosity
where the response to injustice is no longer murder
because on the road to peace you take one step further
it's time for the Revolution!
