The Old School Journal LLC (TOSJ) respects the privacy rights of individuals who visit and use (Website Users or Users) this website, TOSJ.pmantispublishing.com (Site). Information may be collected from Users during their visits to this Site in order to allow TOSJ to provide better service. TOSJ is concerned about treating this information with care and has adopted the following Privacy Policy.
Types of Information Collected and How it is Used
Aggregate Information:
TOSJ collects information that is not personal information about people who use this website to measure traffic on TOSJ. This information is collected automatically on an aggregate basis (Aggregate Information) through the use of a cookie or small text file placed on the User’s hard drive by the User’s Internet browser. The cookie allows TOSJ to track the number of hits or visits to various pages on the Site. The cookie is used only during a single connection to the Site, and is not used to track User activity after leaving the Site. The cookie is permanently disabled when the User exits the Site, and information about individual Users is not collected, saved or distributed to others by TOSJ except as provided for in this Policy. Information Provided to Us by Our Members (Website Users). Personal information may be obtained and / or retained from Users to: 1) process event registrations; 2) facilitate delivery of various products or services; and 3) facilitate participation in the TOSJ online community. Information about Users for event registrations may be provided by TOSJ to exhibitors, sponsors, attendees and others, in any media, including, electronic or print form.
Content. Members who do not wish us to store metadata associated with content shared on TOSJ.pmantispublishing.com (such as photos) should remove the metadata before uploading the content.
Transactional Information. We may retain the details of transactions or payments our Members make. Members may remove any payment source account number from a user profile, if such information should not be stored by us.
Products, Services and Survey Information: Information may be obtained and / or retained to process orders for products or services offered by TOSJ. TOSJ also may obtain and / or retain information about Users who participate in surveys conducted by TOSJ.
Change to Policy
TOSJ reserves the right to and may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any alterations or modifications of this Privacy Policy shall become effective when the revisions are posted on this Site.
