The Old School Journal™ NextLevel Awards™ (TOSJ NLAs or NLAs) recognize the achievements of otherwise ordinary people doing extraordinary things in their community.  We created the NLAs as a way to not only identify “stand-outs” in the next generation of thought leaders but also to foster a global community of achievers who share knowledge and experience with each other in the aim of making this world a better place.   In short, these awards honor the innovators who possess vision as well as the ability to translate conceptual models into real-world action.  As a token of our appreciation for their contributions, The Old School Journal™ (TOSJ) will make a contribution to the favorite charity of each NextLevel Awards™ winner.  Not to mention, we also invite each NLAs finalist to be our special guest at the annual NLAs awards ceremony during TOSJ SpringFling™ Weekend.

The Old School Journal™  NextLevel Awards™ include:

 At the beginning of each year, we shall appoint a NLAs Governing Committee to oversee the nomination and selection process.  Our NLAs Governing Committee works closely with key members of our staff to set the eligibility requirements and award criteria for each of our NLAs.  The NLAs Governing Committee also regulates the timeline of the award process. 

 In order to be considered for selection, a nominee for one of The Old School Journal™ NextLevel Awards™ must:

• Meet each of the eligibility requirements for the particular award nominated.
• Be currently engaged in pursuing a personal or professional interest in the subject matter of the NLAs for which she or he has been nominated.
• Reach the age of twenty-one (21) by the time the NLAs are presented.
• Be a natural, living person.
