A C Powell developed an interest in writing at an early age. As kids, A C, his brother, Fred Jr., and buddy, Jerry, used to write and illustrate comic books based on characters of their own creation. A C later participated in all the usual activities throughout middle school and high school that generally prepare people for a career in writing, but for some reason, A C thought it would be more profitable to focus on a career in law during college. Fortunately, he never really lost his passion for writing, contributing regularly to various student publications. Although A C picked up the “writing bug”, again, after college and law school, he went in another direction by becoming an entrepreneur. Wow … . Talk about your “late bloomer”. At any rate, he has finally come to the realization that writing is just something he has to do. More than simply writing, A C enjoys debating the “issues of the day”. So, naturally, he would create a blog like The Old School Journal™. If you were wondering, this Hoosier turned Washingtonian, lives in Gainesville, VA, with his wife and two of his three children.
